The ‘pleated’ pedestal table is a gently tapered piece constructed entirely from 5mm recycled plastic panels, mechanically fixed together using no glues. Working closely with Smile Plastics, this piece can be constructed from their Heron collection and can be easily customised to suit bespoke dimensions.

All surfaces of the table are fully removable, finished with brass fixings that allow the entire form to be disassembled.

The Kerf Pedestal table is constructed entirely from post-consumer recycled plastics, as part of an ongoing experimentation with sustainable materials in furniture-making. It is constructed from just one sheet of 100% recycled plastic. Each piece has vertical flutes machined before being heated and formed around a tapered cylindrical jig to form a unique, seamless table.
